The pulse in humans can be measured by using an instrument called stethoscope. It is a device that amplifies the sound of a heartbeat and is used to hear heartbeats in the chest.
It consists of three parts:
- A chest piece, which is sensitive to heartbeats.
- Two earpieces.
- A tube joining the chest piece and the earpieces
