Solution
When prolonged dialysis of a colloidal solution is done, the colloidal solution in the tube would contain a very small of amount of small solute as most of it will be washed out.
This will lead to concentration of the colloidal particles and coagulation of the solution (colloidal sol)

Assertion: An ordinary filter paper impregnated with collodion solution stops the flow of colloidal particles.
Reason: Pore size of the filter paper becomes more than the size of colloidal particle.
