Solution
Condensation is the process by which water vapour in the atmosphere is transformed into water droplets or ice. This occurs when moist air cools down and loses heat, causing the water vapour to change from a gaseous state into liquid or solid form. Condensation happens when the temperature falls to or below the dew point temperature, at which the air becomes saturated and cannot hold any more water vapour. It requires the presence of tiny particles like dust or smoke, known as condensation nuclei, on which the water vapour condenses to form droplets. This process is responsible for the formation of clouds, dew, frost, fog, and mist in the atmosphere.
