Tropic motions are directed responses of plants to environmental stimuli. These movements are typically growth-orientated and occur in response to or in opposition to a stimulus.
There are different types of tropic movements:

1. Phototropism: Growth of plants towards or away from light.
2. Geotropism/Gravitropism: Growth of plants towards or away from gravity.
3. Thigmotropism: Growth or development in plants in response to touch or mechanical stimuli.
