Solution

Free hits are awarded for general fouls committed outside the shooting circles, such as obstruction or stick interference. The rules state that a free hit must be taken close to where the infraction occurred, and the ball must be completely stationary before the player strikes or pushes it. During a free hit, all opposing players must stand at least 5 metres away from the ball to prevent immediate interference. Furthermore, if an attacking team is awarded a free hit inside the 23-metre area, the ball cannot be hit directly into the shooting circle; it must first travel at least 5 metres or be touched by another player before entering the "D".
