Solution
Before the match, captains meet with the referees and the opposing team to discuss the playable area, overhead obstacles, and any other concerns they want to address before starting.
- The team captain signs the score sheet and represents the team during the coin toss.
- During play, the captain on the court acts as the game captain. If the team captain is not on the court, the coach or team must appoint another player, excluding the Libero to take on that role.
- If the coach is absent, the captain can request time-outs and substitutions from the referee.
- The captain can also ask the referee to change the ball if needed.
- At the end of the game, the captain thanks the referees and signs the score sheet to confirm the final result.
