We are aware of terms like women's rights, rights of tribals, rights of farmers and so on. There emerge some questions regarding these rights: 

• What are the uses of rights?
• Do they have to be given by somebody?
• Can rights be taken away?
• If rights are taken away, who should we contact for redressal?

The uses of rights are as stated below:

• Rights give people a safe and supportive environment to live, grow and develop. They also allow everyone to enjoy freedom and live with dignity.
• Everyone gets an equal opportunity while living in society.
• A sense of social security is created.
• An individual or a group can raise their voice against injustice and exploitation.

For this purpose, Fundamental rights are provided to the citizens by the government through the Constitution.
