My medals would be round, with a raised design that can be felt by touch. On the front, a flame rises from an open hand, symbolising achievement, hope and the support athletes give one another. Three curved lines around the flame represent courage, determination and unity. The medal’s edge would have a textured pattern so that athletes with visual impairments could distinguish it by touch. Each medal would hang from a comfortable, colourful ribbon.

The bronze medal would celebrate resilience and the hard work it takes to reach the podium. The silver medal would honour skill, discipline and steady progress. The gold medal would recognise outstanding performance, commitment and sportsmanship. On the back of every medal, I would engrave the words: “Every achievement inspires.”
