Alloys are classified as homogeneous mixtures because they consist of two or more metals (or a metal and a non-metal) uniformly mixed at the atomic level. They have a uniform composition throughout and cannot be separated by physical means. The components retain their individual properties but are evenly distributed. No chemical bonding occurs; instead, the metals are physically mixed. They exhibit enhanced properties like strength, durability, and resistance.
