Solution

Given: a = x3y2 and b = xy3 where a and b are positive integers and x and y are prime numbers.

a = x3y2

`⇒ a = x × x xx x xx y xx y`

and b = xy3

`=> b = x xx y xx y xx y`

So, the LCM of a and b will be x3y3 .
