Go inside.” Crestfallen, he watched his mother shut the door behind him. She added, “You stay here in this room till the ruckus stops.” At that very moment, Manu heard a series of taps at his window. He opened it to find Raj at the other side. He had in his hands two unlit sparkers. Manu asked him curiously, “What are you doing here?” Raj replied, “I brought these for you.
