Our group discussed the film Taare Zameen Par. It helped many viewers understand that a child who struggles at school may have a learning difficulty, such as dyslexia, rather than be lazy or unintelligent. The film encouraged parents and teachers to be more patient, recognise children’s individual strengths, and support them with care. This is an example of how a film can change people’s attitudes and actions.
