Given, volume of cylinder = 450 cm3

πr2h = 450 cm3

Volume of cone = `1/3 πr^2h`

= `1/3 xx 450`

= 150 cm3

∴ Volume of empty space = Volume of cylinder – Volume of cone

= 450 – 150

= 300 cm3
