Solution
Julius Caesar is straightforward, confident and direct in his words and actions. He openly refuses Metellus Cimber’s request and declares that he is as constant as the ‘Northern Star’.
He does not hide his opinions or change his decisions easily. However, this confidence also makes him appear proud and inflexible.
Thus, Caesar’s direct nature shows both his strength as a leader and the pride that contributes to his downfall.
