Solution
As, Sn = 5n2 – n
Now, nth term is given by an = Sn – Sn – 1
an = [5n2 − n] – [5(n − 1)2 − (n − 1)]
an = 5[n2 − (n − 1)2] – [n – (n – 1)]
an = 5[2n – 1] – [1]
an = 10n – 6
