Solution

Given, arc length = 44 cm

Radius of circle, r = 17.5 cm

So, area of sector = `"arc length"/(2πr) xx πr^2`

= `("arc length" xx r)/2`

= `(44 xx 17.5)/2`

= 22 × 17.5

= 385 sq. cm
