List price (M.P.) of an article = ₹ 450
Selling price = ₹ 360
(i) ∴ Amount of discount = M.P. - S.P
= ₹ 450 - ₹ 360 = ₹ 90
(ii) Discount percent = `("Discount" xx 100)/"M.P."`
`= (90 xx 100)/450 = 20%`
