Solution

Length of a cuboidal reservoir = 7 m

Breadth of a cuboidal reservoir = 6 m

Height of a cuboidal reservoir = 15 m

Capacity of cuboidal reservoir = `l xx b xx h` = 7 × 6 × 15 = 630 m3

If 8400 L of water is pumped out.

In meter cubic = `8400/1000` = 8.4 m3

Fall in water level = 630 – 8.4 = 621.6 m3

= 621.6 × 1000   ...[∵ 1 m3 = 1000 L]

=  621600 L
