Distance between one crest and one trough of a sea wave = 4.5 m
`=> lambda/2 = 4.5`
⇒ λ = 4.5 × 2 = 9 m
Frequency = 240 min-1
f = `240/60`s-1
f = 4 s-1 or 4 Hz
Wave velocity = v = λf
v = 9 × 4 = 36 ms-1
