⇒ ∠1 - (90° - ∠1) = 12°

⇒ ∠1 - 90° + ∠1 = 12°

⇒ 2∠1 - 90° = 12°

⇒ 2∠1 = 12° + 90°

⇒ 2∠1 = 102°

⇒ ∠1 = `(102°)/2`

⇒ ∠1 = 51°

∠1 + ∠2 = 90°
⇒ ∠2 = 90° - ∠1

⇒ ∠2 = 90° - 51°

⇒ ∠2 = 39°.
