Ratio in the ages of A and B = 6 : 5
A’s age = 18 years
Let B’s age = x years
6 : 5 = 18 : x
⇒ `6/5=18/"x"`
⇒ 6 × x = 18 × 5
⇒ x = `(18xx5)/6=15`
∴ B's age = 15 years.
