Solution
Use the following formulas:
Weight on the Moon = Weight on Earth × 1/6
Weight on Mars = Weight on Earth × 0.38
Example:
| Friend | Weight on Earth (kg) | Weight on Moon (kg) | Weight on Mars (kg) |
| A | 42 | 7.0 | 16.0 |
| B | 48 | 8.0 | 18.2 |
| C | 55 | 9.2 | 20.9 |
| D | 60 | 10.0 | 22.8 |
| E | 68 | 11.3 | 25.8 |
You can replace the Earth weights with the actual weights of your five friends and calculate:
- Moon weight = Earth weight ÷ 6
- Mars weight = Earth weight × 0.38
