Furthermore, harmful agricultural techniques such as shifting cropping (jhumming) must be replaced with sustainable terrace farming.
3. Prevention and Management of Forest Fires: Advanced technological tools, such as real-time satellite monitoring and early warning systems, must be used to detect forest fires early. Creating dedicated fire lines (cleared paths that prevent a fire from spreading) and training local populations in rapid fire response can significantly reduce forest loss.
