= 6ab + 16
Also subtracting 3ab + 8 from – 3ab – 8
= – 3ab – 8 – (3ab + 8)
= – 3ab – 8 + (– 3ab – 8)
= – 3ab – 8 – 3ab – 8
= [(– 3) + (– 3)]ab + [(– 8) + (– 8)]
