Solution
- Consecutive Contacts: A player is not allowed to hit the ball twice in a row except during a block, as long as both touches happen at the same time. However, on the team’s first contact, a player can touch the ball consecutively if it happens in a single, continuous motion.
- Four Hits: It’s a violation if a team hits the ball four times before sending it back over the net.
- Assisted Hit: It’s against the rules for a player or any object to help a teammate play the ball.
- Catch: Catching or throwing the ball is not allowed. The ball must bounce or rebound cleanly off the hit.
- Ball Crossing the Net Outside the Crossing Space: The ball has to pass over the net within the designated crossing space, going between the antennas (including their imaginary extensions) and without touching the ceiling.
