They are in charge of coaching athletes in a particular sport by evaluating their performances, teaching pertinent techniques, and offering support. However, they are also in charge of the athlete's life guidance and their particular sport.

Football coaches organize, lead, instruct, and inspire their teams. They may work with kids, adults, amateurs, or professional players, depending on their background, credentials, and interests.

Football coaches instruct, choose strategies and game plans, and motivate their team members.

Responsibilities of a coach in football usually include (but are not limited to) the following:

1. Choosing the players' teams and formations for games.
2. preparing the game plan and coaching the players on the field.
3. Encouraging athletes prior to and during a game.
4. Scouting young players who may be called up to train in the reserves or youth academy and supporting their growth.
5. Speaking with the media: both before and after the game.
6. Giving responsibilities to medical personnel and other coaches.
