  1. When we raise our right hand, the mirror image appears to raise its left hand. This apparent interchange of the left and right sides is called lateral inversion.
  2. When we move closer to the mirror, the image also appears to move closer to the mirror. When we move away from the mirror, the image also appears to move away by the same amount. However, the size of the image does not change.
  3. No, there is no difference between our height and the height of the mirror image. A plane mirror forms an image that is equal in size to the object.
