Subject: Children's declining reading habits and creative ideas to improve them.

Respected Sir/Madam,

As a deeply concerned parent, I am writing to express my distress over the declining reading habits among students today. The current disinterest in books can be attributed to various factors, including academic pressure, technology-driven distractions, social media influence, lack of parental reading role models, and diminishing library visits. This worrisome trend impacts their academic performance and hinders their overall development.

To address this issue, we must take innovative steps to rekindle the love for reading in our children. One effective approach could be implementing dedicated "Reading Hours" in schools, where students are encouraged to read books of their choice, fostering a sense of autonomy and pleasParents should also; parents should actively participating together with their children, cultivating a nurturing environment for readers at home.

Furthermore, organizing engaging literary events, book fairs, and author interactions could ignite curiosity and excitement in students, enticing them to explore different genres.

I'm hoping that by working together as parents, educators, and society, we can rekindle our children's love of reading and paver that is brighter and more enlightened.

Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Sushila
