`=>` x2 + x + x2 + 3x + 2x + 6 – 42 = 0
`=>` 2x2 + 6x – 36 = 0
`=>` 2x2 + 12x – 6x – 36 = 0
`=>` 2x(x + 6) – 6(x + 6) = 0
`=>` (x + 6)(2x – 6) = 0
If x + 6 = 0 or 2x – 6 = 0
Then x = – 6 or x = 3
