3x − 4 > −2 + x
Inequality 1:
x + 2 ≤ 5
⇒ x ≤ 5 − 2 = 3
Inequality 2:
3x − 4 > −2 + x
⇒ 3x − x > −2 + 4
⇒ 2x > 2
⇒ 2x > 2
Combine Both:
x > 1 and x ≤ 3
1 < x ≤ 3
