2x − 7 < 7

Inequality 1:

3x − 7 ≤ 5

⇒ 3x ≤ 12

⇒ x ≤ 4

Inequality 2:

2x − 7 < 7

⇒ 2x < 14

Combine the results:

First inequality: x ≤ 4

Second inequality: x < 7
