⇒ 3x2 + 11x + 10 = 0
⇒ 3x2 + 6x + 5x + 10 = 0
⇒ 3x(x + 2) + 5(x + 2) = 0
⇒ (3x + 5)(x + 2) = 0
⇒ 3x + 5 = 0 or x + 2 = 0 ...[Using zero-product rule]
⇒ 3x = –5 or x = –2
⇒ x = `(-5)/3` or x = –2
Since, x ∈ I
x = –2
Hence, x = {–2}.
