Solution
`1/2` metre = 100 cm × `1/2` = 50 cm
`1/4` metre = 100 cm × `1/4` = 25 cm
`3/4` metre = 100 cm × `3/4` = 75 cm
When `1/2` and `1/4` is added We get `1/2`+`1/4` = 2 + `1/4` = `3/4`
We can see that we get `3/4` by adding `1/2` and `1/4`.
