Solution

When my brother Arjun left for another country, our home seemed suddenly silent. At the railway station, we held on to each other until the train whistle called him away. I remembered the poem’s words, “There is no touch now,” and felt the ache of our separation.

For weeks, I avoided the room we had shared. Then I found the notebook where Arjun had written, “Be brave, and finish what we began.” I began helping our mother, continued my studies, and joined the village library project we had planned together. His absence did not make the bond disappear; it taught me to carry it within me.

Whenever loneliness returned, I reminded myself that a goodbye could also be a beginning. Though we were “two worlds apart,” I grew more independent and determined. When Arjun came home a year later, he found not the frightened child he had left, but someone who had learned to stand strong.
