Solution

When the going gets tough, the tough get going

Meaning: When we face difficult situations, we should become stronger and continue working instead of giving up.

Situation: Two students are working on a difficult science project.

Student 1: This project is too difficult. I cannot do it anymore. Let us give up.
Student 2: Do not give up. We have already completed most of the project.
Student 1: But our model is not working properly.
Student 2: Let us find the problem and try again. We can ask our teacher for help if necessary.
Student 1: You are right. I will not give up. Let us try once more.
Student 2: That is the spirit! When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
Student 1: We finally did it! Our model is working!
