संकल्पना : गुलामी के समय हमारा समाज अमीर-गरीब, ऊँच-नीच तथा जाति-पाँति की जंजीरों में जकड़ा हुआ था। देश में असमानताएँ व्याप्त थीं। आजादी मिलने के बाद ये बंदिशें टूट गई हैं। कवि ने विषम श्रृंखला शब्द में इस स्थिति की ओर संकेत किया है।
