India’s first-ever tourism university to be established by IIHM

Mumbai’s leading Management and Hospitality Institute, IIHM, announced the establishment of its tourism university on Friday, 13th June 2019.
The university’s proposal was unveiled in January of last year, and IIHM should soon fulfil its pledge to begin the admissions process by August 2020. Offering full-time tourism courses, it is the first university of its sort. The university now offers three tourism-related courses. The first is a two-year full-time degree program, the second is a three-year part-time program, and the third is a one-year diploma program. The university wants to teach its students about how the tourism sector operates. Students who graduate from the university can expect to be hired by some of India’s leading hotels, resorts, and travel agencies. The university wants to supply skilled workers to our nation’s rapidly growing tourist sector.
