- According to Friedman and Rosenman’s Theory of Personality, persons can be roughly classed as Type A and Type B personalities: Rahul shows features of a Type A personality. He is friendly, enthusiastic, and competitive, with a strong sense of urgency and drive to succeed. Type A people are frequently ambitious and goal-oriented, and their high work ethic causes them to be under time limitations and stress. Radhika, on the other hand, represents a Type B personality. She is calm and easygoing, completing activities without feeling pressured. Type B people are often more laid-back, patient, and less stressed, preferring to keep a balanced and steady pace at work.
- Hippocrates presented the Humoral Theory of Personality, which linked personality traits to four body fluids (humors):
Blood → Sanguine: sociable, cheerful, and carefree
Yellow Bile → Choleric: Ambitious, leader-like, and irritable
