यह कथन सत्य है। 

स्पष्टीकरण:

जान लेते है कि, tanθ + tan2θ + `sqrt(3)` tanθ tan2θ = `sqrt(3)`

∴ tanθ + tan2θ = `sqrt(3) - sqrt(3) tan theta tan 2theta`

⇒ tanθ + tan2θ = `sqrt(3)  (1 - tan theta tan 2theta)`

⇒ `(tan theta + tan 2theta)/(1 - tan theta tan 2theta) = sqrt(3)`

दो कोणों के जोड का त्रिकोणमितीय फल का उपयोग करने पर,

∴ tan(θ + 2θ) = `sqrt(3)`

⇒ tan3θ = `tan  pi/3`

⇒ 3θ = `"n"pi + pi/3`

⇒ θ = `("n"pi)/3 + pi/9`

यह कथन सत्य है अर्थात, यदि, tanθ + tan2θ + `sqrt3` tanθ tan2θ = `sqrt3` तब `θ = (nπ)/3 + π/9` होगा।
