You are being asked to conduct an awareness programme in your locality wherein you will comment on the steps taken by the Delhi Government to improve the air quality.

1. The government has implemented a number of control and preventive measures in light of the harm that air pollution causes to buildings, crops, human health, and other areas. The initiatives have resulted in a notable improvement in Delhi’s air quality. An assessment indicates that Delhi has seen a significant drop in CO₂ and SO₂ levels. Additionally, polluting enterprises are prohibited in agricultural and densely populated areas. In an effort to lessen pollution on Delhi’s roads, the Delhi government has introduced an odd and even formula for cars and other vehicles on a trial basis.
2. I will try to use the pictures, drama, documentary films, etc., to show the ill effects of air pollution on the environment, the human system, etc.
3. I’ll stress the importance of using cars with catalytic converters, which turn unburned hydrocarbons into water and carbon dioxide. In addition, we must to adhere to the stricter emission standards for automobiles. In addition to using lead-free gasoline or diesel, cars should be properly maintained. It should be known that air pollution has a negative impact on both human and animal respiratory systems. They cause plants to die off too soon and hinder agricultural growth and productivity.
