Films also influence fashion, music, speech and social attitudes. For example, a story about equality or environmental protection can inspire people to reflect and take action. However, films may also spread stereotypes or present violence and unrealistic lifestyles as desirable. Therefore, filmmakers should portray people and issues responsibly, while viewers should think critically about what they watch. In my view, films have a powerful influence on culture, and that influence is most valuable when it promotes understanding, creativity and positive change.
