One similar feature is that in both countries. The central government and the state government (regional government) exist, and the central government shares power with the regional or state governments. Their jurisdiction in the matters of legislation, administration and taxation is clearly specified.
One different feature is that in Belgium, there is also a provision of typical ‘community government’. On the other hand, there is nothing like a community government in India. Here, a third of federalism was added in the form of panchayats and municipalities.
