Solution
Given:
Income = ₹ 45000
Expenditure = ₹ 31500
Savings = $$45000 - 31500 = \text{₹ } 13500$$
i. Income to expenditure: $$\frac{45000}{31500} = \frac{450}{315} = \frac{10}{7} = 10 : 7$$
ii. Income to savings: $$\frac{45000}{13500} = \frac{450}{135} = \frac{10}{3} = 10 : 3$$
iii. Savings to expenditure: $$\frac{13500}{31500} = \frac{135}{315} = \frac{3}{7} = 3 : 7$$
