Total number of bulbs = 25

Number of red bulbs = 17

Number of black bulbs = 3

= 17 + 3 = 20

∴ Number of yellow bulbs = 25 − 20 = 5 bulbs

Difference between the number of red and yellow bulbs

= No. of red bulbs − No. of yellow bulbs

= 17 − 5 = 12

∴ Percentage difference

= `12/25 xx 100`

= 48%
