Solution

One card is drawn from a well shuffled deck of 52 playing cards

TO FIND: Probability of getting a non-face card

Total number of cards are52.

Cards which are non-face are cards of numbers from 1 to 10 of each suit and there are four suits

Total number of non-face cards is `4xx10=40`

`"We know that PROBABILITY" = "Number of favourablr event "/"Total number of event"`

`"Hence probability of getting non-faced card "=40/52=10/13`

`"Hence probability of getting a non-face card "=10/13`
