Solution
We have given, `1/10` of the food eaten is turned into organism’s own body.
∴ The required fraction of the food eaten not available for the next level is `1 - 1/10 = (10 - 1)/10` ...[∵ L.C.M. of 1 and 10 is 10]
= `9/10`
