Solution

`"S.I. Unit of torque"/"C.G.S. unit of torque"`

= `(kg xx m^2 xx s^-2)/(g xx cm^2 xx s^-2)`

= `((kg)/g) (m/(cm))^2`

= 103 × (102)2

= 103 × 104

= 107

∴ S.I. unit of torque (N m) = 107 C.G.S unit of torque (dyne cm)

Or 1 N m = 107 dyne cm.
