The European Plain covers a large part of northern and central Europe. The countries that are wholly or partly located in this plain include France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, and Romania. These countries have all or some parts of their land within the European Plain.
