यहाँ OA = 3 इकाई
∴ AB = 4 इकाई
∴ OB = `sqrt("OA"^2+"AB"^2)`
= `sqrt(9+16)` = 5 इकाई
अब OA = - 3 (OX' दिशा में है)
AB = - 4 (OY' दिशा में है)
sin x = `"AB"/"OB"` = `(-4)/5`,
cos x = `"OA"/"OB"` = `(-3)/5`,
tan x = `"AB"/"OA"` = `(-4)/(-3)` = `4/3`
cosec x = `"OB"/"OA"` = - `5/4`,
sec x = `"OB"/"OA"` = `5/(-3)` = -`5/3`,
