f'(x) = `([d/dx1](ax^2 + bx + c) - 1 d/dx (ax^2 + bx + c))/(ax^2 + bx + c)^2`
= `(0. (ax^2 + bx + c) - (2ax + b))/(ax^2 + bx + c)^2`
= `(-(2ax + b))/(ax^2 + bx + c)^2`
